About Thengu Surveys
We have over 5 years of collective experience in every aspect of changing the lay of the land to suit construction or civil engineering needs.
Thengu Surveys was founded in July 2018 by Takalani Makhavhu a University of Cape Town graduate with a B.Sc. in Geomatics. Highly passionate and driven Professional Land Surveyor (Geomatics Practitioner) with 10 years’ experience in both government and private practise. Within this 10 years, 5 years involved supervisory role amongst other scopes. Skilled in working under pressure following strong deadlines to meet the client’s specifications.
We are currently one of the industry leading surveyor companies in the Western Cape province, particularly Cape Town. The team holds all required qualifications, experience, great communication skills and the correct equipment for any surveyor job. With the combination of all the qualities we have; we have always received great feedback from clients serviced on how good our quality control is in comparison to most thriving companies.

Our Vision is to increase the awareness of the profession by employing and training more black personnel. We also see ourselves in the next 5 years as the biggest and successful B-BBEE company in South Africa which will offer 3D Laser scanning, Aerial surveys, mine and hydrographic surveys.
